During my animation internship at City Test Prep I helped Bara, the CEO, create content for their new online platform, Mindflow. Mindflow is an online platform allowing City Test Prep to offer their test preparation courses online to a wider audience. While there I created a logo animation to go at the beginning and end of the Mindflow videos. Additionally, I animated two of their speed reading explainer style videos highlighting different techniques.

Logo Animation

For this project I wanted to emphasize the waves in the “o” logo throughout the title while maintaining the same color palette. Creating a flexible transition in and out of any video this animation may be used on was a priority. The logo swipe to the left allows for easy title placement at the beginning of a video. The fade in and wipe out at the end creates a flexible and adaptable closing transition.

Speed Reading

With supplied visual elements I brought this video from ideation through storyboards to completion, incorporating all requested edits.

My main considerations while planning this project were how and where the video may be viewed along with using a visual aesthetic that would aid in a student learning. With a strong potential for the video to be viewed in a small format and to make the content as easy to understand as possible a simple clean approach was chosen.

1 Minute and 20 Second Method

This is the second video in the speed reading series that I created for the Mindflow platform. As with the video above, all the same considerations were put into this video. A simple clean aesthetic was chosen to help in the viewing and comprehension of the content.
